The challenge
Pemicont started as a two-person company selling on polish marketplace Allegro. The market success of both its brands made it necessary to develop a system supporting sales and logistics to many EU countries. Our main task was to transfer the functionality and extension of the legacy desktop system to a new web application.
The solution
By transforming the legacy code, we created an application for the client that collects order information from all active sales channels, including Plentymarkets and Baselinker. The system transmits this information to numerous shipping companies such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, GLS and DPD, significantly facilitating transportation optimization and shortening order processing times.
The results
The system implemented by us provides the client with full functionality of the previously used desktop application, allowing at the same time for a number of future improvements and ease of use. The application automates the process of finding the cheapest transport option, allows to issue waybills and monitor shipment status.
